The Pavilion in De Hallen Haarlem housed a presentation of their identity in the beginning of 2010. For each exhibition block, we devise them with a new, overall design with a new palette, within which the various presentations are assigned their own font and color. Cutting in existing fonts, which gains a very different look as a result of this simple intervention, lends the house style a recognizable character and symbolizes the two pillars that support De Hallen’s identity: the exhibitions and the museum itself. Each exhibition has its own font, in other words. In this presentation, all fonts that have been made up to now pass in review. The different letters are presented on the wall. The visitor can pick his favorite letter and take it home.
